✨ Feature of the Month: The Magic of Blastovers

If you’ve been sitting with an old tattoo that doesn’t feel like you anymore — maybe it’s faded, crooked, or just from an era you’d rather archive — a blastover might be exactly what you need.

A blastover isn’t the same as a coverup. It doesn’t hide the old tattoo — it builds over it, letting parts of the original peek through. It’s bold, layered, artistic, and a great way to bring new life to old ink without the “heavy blackout” look that traditional coverups sometimes require.

Blastovers work best with:

• older, softened tattoos

• lighter/faded areas

• people who love texture, contrast, and bold linework

• anyone wanting a creative upgrade without laser sessions
